Overview
As a teacher, you can determine whether students use traditional usernames and passwords or a section code to log in. This article shows you how to log in with a Section Code.
Download/Print Student Login Cards:
To download or print student login cards:
- Navigate to the section in your Hello World CS teacher dashboard.
- Click on the "Section info" dropdown in the top right-hand corner.
- Select "Print section code with login images" and choose to either save the document as a PDF or download it.
We recommend printing the document and cutting the individual cards to distribute to students. This will help them easily log into their Hello World CS accounts, especially at the start of the course.
Student Login by Section Code:
This video demonstrates how students can log in using the section code method, which is recommended for K-5 students. For middle school and high school students, we suggest using their username and password or Clever account.
