In CoSpaces, a YouTube video block allows users to embed any YouTube URL directly into their projects, enabling video playback within the platform. This feature, while engaging, may bypass network-level restrictions set up to manage content access.
Current Limitations
At this time, the YouTube video block cannot be disabled individually within CoSpaces. Disabling this feature would require turning off multiple other blocks in the platform, which might limit broader functionality.
Upcoming Enhancements
We understand the importance of having control over content availability and accessibility. Our team is actively developing an enhanced integration with CoSpaces, which will provide improved management over available blocks, including the YouTube video block. While we’re excited about this update, we don’t yet have an estimated release date.
