The new locked project gradebook feature in Hello World CS automatically locks student projects once they are submitted, providing a more streamlined grading process. Here’s how the feature works:
Projects are locked immediately upon submission. Once a student submits a project, they cannot make further edits in Hello World CS.
When a student clicks "Submit," they will see this message:
If a student clicks "View This Project," they will see this message:
There is no change in the teacher experience with these buttons:
"Finalize" button finalizes the grade.
"Send Back" buttons unlocks the project, allowing students to make further edits before resubmitting.
Once the project has received a final grade, it will reopen for students to edit, remix, etc.
