Why Am I Seeing the "Nothing to See Here" Message in CoSpaces?
If you're encountering the "Nothing to see here" message in the CoSpaces iframe window (right side only), there are three common reasons for this issue.
If you're logged into your teacher account, you won’t be able to view team projects created by students. Teacher accounts are designed for managing and overseeing student work but do not provide access to collaborative team projects directly.
Solution:
Switch to a student account or check the projects assigned to your sections to verify the setup.
2. Students Haven’t Been Assigned to Groups
If students are seeing the "Nothing to see here" message, it’s likely because they haven’t been placed into groups yet. In CoSpaces, team projects require students to be assigned to specific groups to access and collaborate on the assignment.
Solution:
Make sure you’ve assigned students to groups in the appropriate section. Once group assignments are set up, students should be able to access their projects without issue. Click here to learn how to group students in CoSpaces.
3. The Assignment Was Removed or Doesn’t Exist
This message can also appear if the user’s assignment has been deleted or no longer exists in CoSpaces.
Solution:
Double-check the assignment in your CoSpaces dashboard to confirm its availability. If it was removed, you may need to reassign it or create a new assignment for the user.
